The video production process is simply like layering a cake. There are three stages of production – pre production, production and post-production.

Pre-Production – A creative concept is established of what the proposed video is for, or in terms of promotional and corporate videos, who the video is targeted at. This stage is the idea bubble and is all about planning and preparation to achieving a set concept.

Production – This stage is where the idea to brought to life. The video is filmed using high definition cameras and an array of professional equipment.

Post-Production – The final stage involves putting together all the recorded material into a structure. This is done through video editing, colour correction/grading and the addition of music and sound to ensure the final video is of highest quality to the viewer.

If it’s a promotional video for a product or business, the video can uploaded online to YouTube, Vimeo and many other video sharing sites. The video be optimised to allow easier discovery for your business or product when entered into search engines. After all, YouTube is the second largest search engine.
